Frequently asked questions

My camera doesn't change. What should I do?
First, make sure the master switch at the top of the popup is turned on. Then check that the website has permission to use your camera and that the right camera is selected. If it still doesn't work, try refreshing the page once.
Which websites are supported?
Flip Camera works on almost any website that uses your camera — video calling apps, online classrooms, live streaming tools and camera test pages. A few websites with very strict security rules may block extensions from interacting with the camera.
Will this affect my microphone or the sound?
No. Flip Camera only changes the video. Your microphone audio is fully preserved, so people can still hear you clearly.
Does it affect screen sharing?
No. When you share your screen or a window, that shared content is not flipped or filtered — only your own camera feed is affected.
